No, you don't need to be there. Most of our clients just leave a key, a lockbox code, or a garage code and head to work or run errands while we clean. If you'd rather be home to let us in and show us around, that's completely fine too. Either way, we'll always confirm exactly how we're getting in before the day of your visit, so there's no last-minute confusion.

Yes, we bring everything: cleaning solutions, cloths, a vacuum, mop, the works. You don't need to buy or set out a single thing. Our products are chosen to be safe around kids and pets. If you have a specific product you'd like us to use instead, like something for a certain type of countertop or flooring, just mention it when you book and we'll bring it along.

Yes, fully. Dusty Den Cleaning carries liability insurance and every cleaner is bonded, and each one goes through a background check before they ever step into a client's home. In the unlikely event anything is ever damaged during a clean, you're covered, and you can feel confident about who's in your space.

Just let us know within 48 hours of the appointment and we'll come back out to fix it, at no extra cost to you. We'd rather make it right than have you settle for a clean that didn't meet your expectations. Most of the time this means we missed a spot or you wanted something done a bit differently, and it's a quick fix.

Both options are available and there's no pressure either way. You can book a single deep clean, move-out clean, or standard clean whenever you need one, with nothing else required afterward. Or, if you'd rather not think about it every time your house needs a refresh, you can set up a weekly, biweekly, or monthly recurring plan. There's no contract or cancellation fee if you switch plans or stop altogether.

A standard clean covers the everyday upkeep: kitchens, bathrooms, floors, dusting, and tidying up living spaces so your home feels fresh again. A deep clean goes further into the details that build up over time, like baseboards, window sills, light fixtures, and other spots a quick clean tends to skip, with furniture moved out of the way wherever it's safe to do so. If it's your first time booking with us, or it's been a while since your last professional clean, we usually recommend starting with a deep clean so future standard cleans have less to catch up on.

It depends on the size of your home and the type of clean, but a standard clean for an average home usually takes one to three hours, while a deep clean or move-out clean can take longer since it covers more ground. When you book, we'll give you a realistic time estimate based on your home's size and condition so you know what to expect.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, and e-transfer. Payment is handled securely after your booking is confirmed, and for recurring plans we can set things up so you're billed automatically after each visit instead of having to remember it yourself.

For recurring plans, we do our best to send the same cleaner to your home each visit, since it helps them get to know your space, your preferences, and any little details that matter to you. If your regular cleaner is ever unavailable, we'll send someone else from our trained team so your schedule isn't disrupted, and we'll let you know ahead of time.

Not much. It helps if countertops, floors, and other surfaces are reasonably picked up so we can focus on actually cleaning rather than tidying away clutter first, but you don't need to do a big cleanup beforehand, that's what you're hiring us for. Just make sure pets are secured somewhere they're comfortable and let us know about any areas you'd like us to skip or pay extra attention to.

Just give us a call or send a message as soon as you know, and we'll find a new time that works for you. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a one-time booking, or at least 7 days' notice for recurring plans. Cancellations or reschedules with less notice than that may be subject to a $45 CAD fee, since it's often too late for us to fill that time slot with another booking.
